User friendly designs permit insertion, submersion or flow through installations with standard, off-the-shelf NPT plumbing fittings. Integral unity gain and differential preamplifiers provide a noise free pH signal output to most process analyzers and transmitters.
Solution ground is available for analyzers and transmitters featuring pH glass and reference cell diagnostics or differential input preamplifiers. pH sensors are also available to solve ground loop problems typically found in plating baths or other tank applications.

Our optical instruments consist of a sensor housing, monitor, the interconnecting cables and if required, a monitor enclosure. The sensor consists of a light source and one or more detectors to monitor changes in the light caused by the measured material. Wedgewood Innovative Sensors products can be supplied in many configurations to meet demanding applications. Solids and Absorbance Measurement:
Absorbance spectrometry is typically defined as an absorbance measurement of solids concentration in process liquids.
Cell Growth Measurement:
The cell growth system is a special application of the Solids/Absorbance system. The photometer is a special sanitary designed absorbance probe built for direct insertion into a fermenter. The sensors resilient flow cell is ultra hygienic and designed to withstand CIP and SIP cleaning cycles. This system uses different path lengths to measure microbial fermentation or mammalian cell culture applications.
This system is used to measure the spectral absorbance of process liquids in the ultraviolet region of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The Model 980 and AF22 color system contains a dual beam photometer for measuring color absorbance in process liquids.
